PechaKucha New Westminster has been presenting PK nights since 2013. Events are organized by a small group of volunteers and presented in different venues around New West celebrating the uniqueness of the city and the people who live here. At a PechaKucha Night, individuals gather to share personal presentations about their passions. The best way to get to know your neighbours and friends you haven’t met yet. PechaKucha was created in Japan in 2003 by renowned architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. The word “PechaKucha” is Japanese for “chit chat.”
